Reading Report: 07 April 2024

二十四歳職業OL、転生先でキシリアやってます

This week was fairly light in terms of total active input. I had a little bit of passive anime with a War in the Pocket rewatch, but otherwise not much to mention off the books. I wanted to get a bunch of manga done this week, but it'll have to wait. School kicking my butt...

新機動戦記ガンダムW

This week I made decent headway with this series, but sadly wasn't able to get to the end (just 8 episodes to go!). I'm enjoying the series more as it goes on. I felt that the Operation Meteor boys have gotten a lot of development and each of their individual motivations feels more nuanced. ウーフェイ and ヒイロ still feel a bit undercooked compared to the others.
Mild spoilers, but I'm glad ノイン is still around, and it's really interesting to see her and ゼクス on different sides of the battlefield.
The entire system of who is fighting for who has been kind of a mess, to be honest. OZ and White Fang and the colonies generally and earth generally... it's just a lot. Even ヒイロ and ゼクス did a little gundam swap.

二十四歳職業OL転生先で、キシリアやってます　下

The end of the first chapter had an interesting cliffhanger. Basically キシリア ordered シャア to go to Side 7 and attack the ガンダム, but she also clued シャア into more info than he normally has in the TV show by this time, so he overperformed and damaged the ホワイトベース (the iconic 母艦), meaning the flow of the timeline is going to be delayed. I'm sure キシリア will somehow sort it out, because she always fixes everything, but hopefully the problems will continue until the story improves.

少年のアビス

I was feeling the fatigue of this series again, but then it had a nice late-volume twist which means there's a cliffhanger for a potentially cool payoff in volume 17... in July.
